Antonio Branch Jr., a three-star safety from Miami, has flipped his commitment from Penn State to Colorado after attending the Buffaloes' recent comeback victory over Baylor. Initially committed to Penn State since mid-June, Branch cited a feeling of 'home' during his visit to Colorado as a key factor in his decision. His recruitment included offers from prominent programs such as Auburn, Florida State, and Michigan, but he ultimately chose to join Colorado's 2025 class, becoming their eighth verbal commitment. The loss of Branch marks the fifth decommitment for Penn State's 2025 recruiting class, which still holds 24 commitments and ranks 14th nationally. Branch is recognized as a top-40 safety nationally and ranks 62nd among players from Florida according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
