Israeli Authorities Probe Deadly Settler Attack on Palestinians West Bank

A violent clash erupted near Sinjil in the West Bank between Israeli settlers and Palestinians protesting the establishment of a new illegal outpost, resulting in the deaths of two Palestinians, including US-Palestinian citizen Seif al-Din Musalat. Musalat, who had recently arrived from Florida to visit relatives, was severely beaten and blocked from receiving timely medical aid by settlers, dying before reaching the hospital. The second victim, Mohammed Rizq Hussein al-Shalabi, was also shot and left to bleed for hours. Israeli authorities, including police and the Shin Bet, have opened investigations into the incident, which followed Palestinians throwing stones at Israeli civilians, lightly injuring two. The families of the deceased have called for an immediate US State Department investigation to hold the settlers accountable. No arrests have been made yet, and authorities continue probing the circumstances amid reports of vandalism, arson, and clashes in the area.
