Krispy Kreme Launches Limited DC Superheroes Doughnut Collection

Krispy Kreme has launched the limited-time “Hungry for Heroes” doughnut collection in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, celebrating iconic DC superheroes Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Each doughnut is uniquely designed to reflect the character it honors: Superman is an unglazed shell filled with white Kreme and light blue icing topped with buttercream clouds; Batman features a cookies & Kreme filling with black chocolate icing and a bat emblem; Wonder Woman is an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in red raspberry icing with stars, blue sprinkles, and her logo. These doughnuts are available individually, in custom-designed dozen boxes, and through Krispy Kreme’s app and website, with select retailers offering six-pack boxes. From July 24-27, customers who show affinity for their favorite DC hero at participating stores nationwide can get a free doughnut with any purchase, coinciding with a major superhero event in San Diego. Krispy Kreme’s chief growth officer, Dave Skena, emphasized the fun and celebratory nature of the collection, promising customers will feel like heroes by sharing these treats.
