Chhabra recounted how he reached out to Kumar after filmmaker Anand L Rai informed him that the doctor they needed was connected to the actor. Kumar promptly arranged medical assistance and maintained daily communication with Chhabra for 15 days, asking about his mother's condition and even speaking directly with her doctor. Chhabra expressed deep gratitude for Kumar's kindness, highlighting how the actor's actions made a lasting impact during a difficult time. Sadly, Chhabra's mother passed away in 2023, and he reflected on her memory in a heartfelt tribute. Currently, Chhabra is involved in casting for major upcoming films, including a two-part epic Ramayana featuring Ranbir Kapoor.
