Salesforce is planning significant expansion in India, seeking additional office space and further investment in its innovation hubs located in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The company's operations in India have seen remarkable growth, with its workforce more than doubling to over 13,000 employees in the past two years, making it the fastest-growing market for Salesforce globally. Chief Operating Officer Brian Millham emphasized the importance of India's contribution to the company's global operations, while Chief of Engineering Srini Tallapragada confirmed ongoing investments in talent acquisition and training initiatives. Arundhati Bhattacharya, the country head, noted that there is no talent shortage in India and highlighted the company's efforts to enhance the Salesforce ecosystem through partnerships that aim to provide internships to over 200,000 individuals. Additionally, Salesforce is set to launch a dedicated offering for small businesses next year, further reinforcing its commitment to the Indian market.
