Reggie Miller Joins NBC Sports as Lead NBA Analyst

Reggie Miller, a Hall of Famer and NBA 75th Anniversary Team member, will join NBC Sports as the lead game analyst starting in October 2025, following the conclusion of his contract with TNT. Miller, who spent his entire 18-season playing career with the Indiana Pacers, expressed excitement about returning to NBC, where many of his memorable moments were televised during the network's previous NBA coverage from 1990 to 2002. NBCUniversal's new 11-year media rights deal includes broadcasting up to 100 regular-season games, the NBA All-Star Game, and first-round playoff matches, with an estimated annual spend of $2.4 to $2.5 billion. Miller is expected to call one or more games per week during the regular season and playoffs, contributing to NBC's efforts to build a comprehensive NBA broadcasting roster. The network's strategy includes airing games on both NBC and its streaming platform, Peacock, which will feature a national game each Monday night. This move marks a significant shift for Warner Bros. Discovery, which will lose live NBA broadcasts after decades of partnership.
