Primus Announces Summer 2025 US Tour With John Hoffman

Primus has announced their Summer 2025 'Onward & Upward' US tour, featuring new drummer John Hoffman, who was selected from over 6,200 applicants. The tour kicks off on July 5 in Paso Robles, California, and will visit 24 cities including iconic venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City, concluding with a two-night stand in Sacramento on August 7 and 8. Les Claypool remarked on Hoffman's fresh energy and talent, which he has brought to the band following the departure of Tim 'Herb' Alexander. Support acts Ty Segall and MonoNeon will join Primus for select shows throughout the tour. Presale tickets go on sale March 26, with general sales starting March 28. This tour marks a significant chapter for Primus as they continue to evolve their sound and performance style.
