Doctor Pleads Guilty in Matthew Perry Ketamine Death

Court documents reveal he provided Perry and his assistant with ketamine vials, lozenges, and syringes, and text messages indicate Plasencia viewed Perry as a target for profit. Authorities say Plasencia and co-defendants operated a clandestine drug distribution network, with three others, including another doctor and Perry's assistant, already pleading guilty and one, Jasveen Sangha, awaiting trial. The Justice Department has emphasized that the group exploited Perry’s addiction for financial gain. Perry's death was officially ruled as caused by acute ketamine effects.
