Five Arrested After Nashville High-Speed Chase Linked to Vehicle, Firearm Thefts

Five individuals, including four teenagers and one adult, were arrested following a high-speed police chase involving a stolen Nissan Altima and a subsequent pursuit in a green Dodge Charger in Nashville. The chase ended at an apartment complex on Creative Way, where all suspects fled inside and were taken into custody. Authorities recovered multiple vehicle programmers, stolen key fobs, a Tennessee dealer license plate, and three firearms outside the apartment, one of which was modified with a Glock switch, allowing fully automatic fire. Among those arrested was 16-year-old Jamarcus Menzies, wanted on three counts of aggravated robbery, as well as others charged with vehicle theft, firearm theft, evading arrest, illegal possession of firearms, and possession of fob equipment used for vehicle theft. Bonds were set between $15,000 and $16,000 for the adult suspects, while juveniles were charged in juvenile court. The arrests highlight ongoing concerns about violent crimes and stolen vehicles in the Nashville area.
