Black Sabbath's Original Members Reunite for Final Concert in Birmingham

Black Sabbath will reunite for a final performance on July 5, 2025, at Villa Park in Birmingham, marking the first time in 20 years that the original lineup—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—will share the stage. This concert, part of the 'Back To The Beginning' festival, will also feature performances from heavy metal legends such as Metallica, Slayer, and Pantera. Osbourne, who has faced health challenges including Parkinson's disease, expressed that this concert is an opportunity to give back to his hometown, stating, 'Birmingham is the true home of metal.' The event will include a short solo set from Osbourne before he joins his bandmates, and proceeds will benefit several charities, including Cure Parkinson’s and Birmingham Children's Hospital. Tom Morello will serve as the musical director for the festival, which promises to be a landmark event in the heavy metal scene. Tickets for the concert will go on sale on February 14, 2025.
