Two former Quebec junior hockey players, Nicolas Daigle and Massimo Siciliano, have been sentenced to jail for sexually assaulting a minor at a hotel in June 2021 after the Victoriaville Tigres championship celebration. Daigle received 32 months, Siciliano 30 months in jail, pleading guilty to the assault. The victim, protected by a publication ban, was an employee at the hotel where the assault occurred. She felt trapped during the 40-minute assault by both men, with Daigle also filming the incident without her knowledge.
