Memphis Police Seek Two Men After Raleigh Attempted Carjacking

Memphis police are actively searching for two men involved in an attempted carjacking at a gas station on Raleigh Millington Road. The incident occurred around 8:55 p.m. when the victim, who was pumping gas, was confronted by two suspects, one armed with a handgun demanding his car keys. The victim struggled with one of the assailants before managing to escape in his vehicle, at which point one suspect fired a shot at the fleeing car. The suspects then fled the scene on foot, splitting up and eluding immediate capture. Authorities have released descriptions of the suspects: one wore a pink hooded sweatshirt with white lettering, black pants, a black ski mask, and white shoes, while the other wore a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering, black pants, and black shoes without a mask. Police are urging anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers to assist in apprehending the suspects.
