Kirk Hammett releases photo book detailing personal guitar collection

Kirk Hammett of Metallica has launched a new photo book titled 'The Collection: Kirk Hammett,' which explores his extensive guitar collection over 400 pages. The book features photography by rock photographer Ross Halfin and includes exclusive interviews with Hammett about his instruments, such as the iconic 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard known as 'Greeny' and a 1979 Gibson Flying V. Available in three editions, the limited Custom and Deluxe versions are signed by Hammett and include additional collector’s items. Hammett expressed his excitement, stating the book captures the rich history and artistry behind each guitar. Fans can order the book through the Metallica web store or Gibson.com, and they will also have the chance to see him play during the upcoming U.S. tour starting in April. The release is accompanied by a teaser narrated by Jason Momoa, emphasizing the stories behind each guitar.
