Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2024 Announced

The Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2024, scheduled for November 15 and 16, is set to feature an impressive lineup of international and Indian artists, headlined by Akon, Boney M's Maizie Williams, and K-pop star Lucas from SuperM, marking his India debut. This year's festival, themed 'Year of Legends', also includes performances from EDM producer R3HAB, Slovakian tribute band Korn SK, and various local acts such as Jasleen Royal and Jessie Lyngdoh. Boney M's appearance is particularly significant as it is part of their farewell tour, while Akon's performance is part of his 'Superfan Tour'. The festival not only celebrates music but also showcases the cultural richness of Meghalaya, drawing thousands of attendees each year.
