Five Bay Area Men Indicted for FBI Impersonation Robberies in Portland

Five men from California have been indicted for conspiring to rob Portland-area reshipping businesses while impersonating FBI agents. The group, consisting of Cankun He, Hailong Ma, Robert Maynard, Yuxiang Wei, and Jordan Cantie, allegedly stole approximately 200 Apple iPhones and five cameras from Faith Fly International on April 14, using fake FBI jackets, bulletproof vests, zip ties, and vehicles with flashing blue and red lights to intimidate employees. Maynard and Cantie carried out the robbery, brandishing a gun and tying up employees, while Ma and Wei provided support nearby. The men were also linked to an attempted robbery on May 19 at Premier Packaging in Hillsboro, Oregon, which was foiled by FBI agents, leading to several arrests. Four suspects—He, Ma, Maynard, and Wei—have been arrested and remain in custody, while Cantie is still at large. The defendants face up to 20 years in prison and significant fines as legal proceedings continue.
