Kevin Costner Stars in Surf Thriller Headhunters

Kevin Costner is set to co-write, produce, and star in a new thriller film titled Headhunters, marking his first feature project after directing the Horizon saga. The film, directed by debut filmmaker Steven Holleran, features Costner as Lazer, a washed-up American ex-pat living in Bali who recruits surfers to find a perfect wave on an uncharted island that is home to a tribe of headhunters. The story promises an adventure turned survival tale with significant suspense and horror elements. Daniel Zovatto will star alongside Costner, and production is expected to begin in Hawaii this November. Costner's involvement comes amid speculation regarding the future of his Horizon series, particularly following its mixed box office reception.
