Spain calls for negotiations

Spain is urging negotiations to prevent tariffs on its pork exports to China following Beijing's announcement of an anti-dumping probe on EU pork, targeting Spain, the Netherlands, France, and Denmark. Spain exported significant pork volumes to China in 2023, making up a substantial portion of its total pork exports and a notable share of China's imports.
