Researchers from the University of Utah and other institutions found that the link between endometriosis and ovarian cancer is significant enough to recommend awareness and possibly targeted cancer screening for those with severe subtypes. Additionally, disparities in women's health services across the U.S. are causing higher death rates from breast and cervical cancer in southern states due to lagging preventive care and screenings.
