Anya Taylor-Joy Stars in Apple TV+ Series Lucky

Apple TV+ has officially announced the limited series 'Lucky,' starring and executive produced by Anya Taylor-Joy, based on Marissa Stapley's bestselling novel. The storyline follows a young woman who, having escaped a life of crime, must confront her darker past one last time. Taylor-Joy will collaborate with Reese Witherspoon's production company, Hello Sunshine, along with Jonathan Tropper and Cassie Pappas, who will serve as co-showrunners. This marks Taylor-Joy's return to television since her acclaimed performance in 'The Queen’s Gambit.' The series aims to amplify female-centric narratives and is set to begin production with a target release in spring 2025.
