The helmet, valued at approximately 168,000 yen (about $1,100), was inspired by the renewed global interest in Japan's samurai history, particularly due to the TV series 'Shogun.' As the two leaders discussed potential tariffs on Japanese goods, Ishiba expressed optimism about avoiding higher tariffs, citing Japan's significant investments in the U.S. In return, Trump gifted Ishiba a copy of his 'Save America' picture book.
