The Indian Army and Air Force have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vadodara-based Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya to enhance logistics expertise within the armed forces. The agreement, signed in New Delhi, aims to strengthen the logistical backbone of military operations and aligns with national strategies such as the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan 2021 and National Logistics Policy 2022. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized the critical role of logistics in military operations, stating that an efficient system is essential for swift mobilization and resource delivery. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw expressed confidence in the university's potential to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application in the logistics sector. The collaboration reflects the government's vision of self-reliance in defense capabilities. This initiative is expected to significantly contribute to the operational efficiency and skill development of military personnel.
