South Korean Coffee Chain Plans Third Metro Vancouver Location

TheVenti, a popular South Korean coffee chain with nearly 1500 locations domestically, is expanding rapidly in Metro Vancouver with a new downtown location at 509 Dunsmuir St., set to open in early September 2025. This will be TheVenti's third local outpost following recent openings in Richmond and Coquitlam, and it features a diverse menu including traditional coffee drinks alongside unique offerings like the Misuguru Latte and a Canada-only menu with items such as the Maple Deep Latte. Vancouver's restaurant scene is also seeing new ventures like Murmur, a no-tip café and weekend prix fixe dining spot; Onda, specializing in Roman-style pinsa pizza; Syu, a sushi restaurant with both classic and creative rolls; and Rumble Fish, offering seafood and fish and chips. Additionally, Miso Taco, known for its Mexican-Japanese fusion cuisine and lively anime-inspired decor, is planning a return to downtown Vancouver with a new location in the B6 tower in Coal Harbour, aiming for a winter 2025 opening.
