A Great Western Railway (GWR) train from Reading to Gatwick was cancelled after two squirrels boarded and one refused to leave. The incident occurred at Gomshall, Surrey, where the squirrels initially caused chaos by attacking passengers, forcing them to shift carriages. Staff at Redhill attempted for 30 minutes to remove the squirrels using brooms, a telescopic grabber, and peanuts, but one squirrel remained onboard. Consequently, the train was terminated and sent back to Reading, disrupting passengers' travel plans.
