Dan Tadmor Appointed CEO of Weitzman Museum

Dan Tadmor has been appointed as the new president and CEO of the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History, starting January 1, 2025. He previously led the ANU Museum of the Jewish People in Tel Aviv, overseeing a $100 million renovation that established it as the largest Jewish museum globally. Tadmor replaces Misha Galperin, who announced his departure last year. His vision for the Weitzman includes a major overhaul of exhibitions and public programming to enhance its relevance in contemporary Jewish discourse. The museum is also pursuing integration into the Smithsonian Institution, with a bill currently under consideration in the Senate. Tadmor expressed confidence in the museum's future, stating it is a 'healthy organization that does a lot of good.'
