Akash Systems Secures $27 Million Deal in India

Akash Systems has secured a $27 million contract with NxtGen Datacenter and Cloud Technologies to deploy its advanced Diamond Cooling servers across NxtGen's data centers in India. This partnership aims to enhance energy efficiency in AI computing by integrating Akash's cooling technology with NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, enabling NxtGen to reduce AI compute service costs by over 50%. The Diamond Cooling technology, which excels in thermal conductivity, is designed to prevent GPU thermal throttling, thereby maximizing computational performance. A S Rajgopal, CEO of NxtGen, emphasized that this collaboration sets a new industry benchmark for sustainable AI solutions. Vinod Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures, highlighted the scalability and impact of Akash's technology on AI workloads. The initiative positions NxtGen as a leader in providing energy-efficient AI computing services to a wide range of enterprises.
