Relief Efforts Underway for L.A. Fire Victims

In response to the devastating wildfires in Southern California, communities across the state are rallying to provide aid and support to those affected. Kern County, having previously received assistance during their own wildfire crises, is now reciprocating with over 200 firefighters and substantial donations coordinated by CityServe and the Red Cross (KGET). Similarly, Peoples Church in Fresno and Meathead Movers have been collecting donations for wildfire survivors and first responders (KFSN). In Bakersfield, various organizations like the Kern County C10 crew and West Bakersfield 4H have been actively organizing donation drives, successfully gathering essential supplies (Turnto23). Meanwhile, in the Bay Area, Westgate Church filled a semi-truck with donations for delivery to the Dream Center in Los Angeles (Patch). Northern California's Butte County United and Be Extra are also collaborating on a drive to collect and send essential supplies to affected areas in Los Angeles (KCRA).
