Patrick Warburton, known for his role as David Puddy on 'Seinfeld', revealed during the 'Howie Mandel Does Stuff' podcast that his conservative parents disapproved of his acting choices, particularly after his debut in the 1995 episode 'The Fusilli Jerry'. His father sent him a six-page letter expressing disappointment, criticizing the lack of sanctity in the portrayal of sexual acts on the show. Warburton humorously noted that his parents believed sex should be solely for procreation. His mother, a member of the Parents Television Council, also opposed his work on 'Family Guy', despite the income it provided for the family. Warburton's father passed away six years ago, but his mother continues to disapprove of his career choices.
