Search for missing runner Jenny Hall enters fourth day in County Durham

The search for 23-year-old Jenny Hall, who went missing in County Durham, has entered its fourth day, with police expressing growing concern for her safety. Last seen leaving her home at Barracks Farm on Tuesday, her red Ford Focus was discovered abandoned on the B6278 the following day. Authorities have been combing the Hamsterley Forest area, where Hall is known to run, utilizing specialized sniffer dogs, drones, and mountain rescue teams. Chief Inspector Dean Haythornthwaite has urged the public to avoid the search areas to minimize disruptions, while acknowledging the valuable information received from community members. Hall is described as six feet tall with long dark hair, and was last seen wearing a blue hoodie and dark jogging bottoms. The search has covered over 60 miles of paths, but no additional clues have emerged regarding her whereabouts.
