IDF Drone Strike in Nur Shams Camp

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a drone strike in the Nur Shams camp near Tulkarem, resulting in the deaths of at least five individuals, including Jibril Jibril, a Hamas member released in a November hostage deal. The IDF stated the strike targeted a command room used by local terror groups while Palestinian sources reported increased violence in the region, including the martyrdom of 10 Palestinians during a large-scale military offensive in Jenin. The offensive, described as the largest since 2002, has involved aerial support from helicopters and fighter jets. Meanwhile, tensions have escalated with incidents of violence between Israeli settlers and Palestinians, leading to further casualties. Since the start of the conflict on October 7, over 630 Palestinians have reportedly been killed in the West Bank, according to the Palestinian Authority.
