Uzbek Citizen Detained in General's Murder Case

Russian authorities have detained a 29-year-old Uzbek citizen in connection with the assassination of Lt Gen Igor Kirillov, head of the military's Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defence Forces, who was killed in a bombing in Moscow. The suspect allegedly received instructions from Ukrainian intelligence, with reports stating he was promised $100,000 and EU travel in return for his actions.
