2025 Palm Springs International Film Festival Lineup Announced

The 36th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) will take place from January 2 to January 13, 2025, featuring 158 films from 71 countries, including 68 premieres. The festival will open with 'Better Man,' a biopic about Robbie Williams directed by Michael Gracey, and will close with 'The Penguin Lessons,' directed by Peter Cattaneo and starring Steve Coogan. Notably, the lineup includes 35 submissions for the International Feature Film Oscar® and sections focusing on diverse genres such as Spanish films, Queer Cinema, and World Cinema. Artistic Director Lili Rodriguez emphasized the festival's commitment to storytelling and community engagement. This year's highlights also include celebrity appearances and discussions surrounding various featured films. 'Better Man' is set for limited release on December 25, 2024, and will expand on January 10, 2025.
