Pro Football Hall of Fame Announces 2025 Finalists

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has announced 15 finalists for the Class of 2025, including notable names such as two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning, Defensive Players of the Year Luke Kuechly and Terrell Suggs, and prolific tight end Antonio Gates. This year's group features five players in their first year of eligibility, such as Manning, Kuechly, Suggs, Adam Vinatieri, and Marshal Yanda, with Steve Smith Sr. making the cut for the first time in his fourth year. The selection committee will vote next month to determine between three and five modern-era inductees, to be revealed during the Super Bowl week. Additional nominees in the seniors, coaches, and contributors categories include Maxie Baughan, Sterling Sharpe, and Mike Holmgren. The finalists also include other prominent players like Jared Allen, Fred Taylor, and Eric Allen. The official class will be announced on February 6, 2025.
