Montreal Victoire Secure PWHL Playoff Spot
Marie-Philip Poulin and Laura Stacey led the Montreal Victoire to secure the first PWHL playoff spot with a 4-1 win over the Minnesota Frost. Montreal now holds first place in the standings, achieving its first regulation win in six road games. Poulin, who leads the league with 17 goals, and Stacey, who had her first four-point game, were instrumental in the victory. Meanwhile, Toronto Sceptres also won against Boston Fleet, tying Montreal's point tally in the standings earlier in the evening. Despite Minnesota's return home after 36 days, they struggled offensively, managing only 13 goals in their last seven games. Victoire goalie Elaine Chuli was effective, stopping 19 of 20 shots in the win.
