Maria Kanellis-Bennett Departs AEW, Plans Future Appearances

Maria Kanellis-Bennett announced her departure from All Elite Wrestling (AEW), stating that today marks her last day with the promotion. Although her husband, Mike Bennett, will remain with AEW, Kanellis is now a free agent and is open for bookings as she pursues a master's degree starting in March. She has previously expressed a desire for a more significant creative role within AEW, but negotiations did not align. Kanellis joined AEW in 2022 after a career spanning WWE, TNA, and Ring of Honor, where she played a vital role in revamping the women's division. Recently, she underwent surgery for a growth on her adrenal gland, which was confirmed to be non-cancerous. Her future appearances include several events in the coming months, starting with an appearance in Indianapolis this weekend.
