Jacques Chappuis Named PGIM CEO
Prudential Financial Inc. has announced the appointment of Jacques Chappuis as the new president and CEO of its asset management business, PGIM, effective May 1, 2025. Chappuis, who has co-headed Morgan Stanley Investment Management since early 2024, will succeed David Hunt, who will retire after 13 years in the role. Hunt will assist in the transition by remaining as chairman until July 31, 2025. Chappuis brings a wealth of experience, having previously held senior roles in investment solutions and global distribution at Morgan Stanley and the Carlyle Group. He will report to Andrew Sullivan, Prudential's executive vice president overseeing international business and global investment management. Chappuis expressed enthusiasm for leading PGIM and building on its successes in meeting clients' investment needs.
