Alan Carr's Picture Slam will return for a third series on BBC One and iPlayer later this year, following the success of its previous seasons. The show, which tests contestants' knowledge and speed in identifying pictures for a chance to win a £10,000 jackpot, averaged 3.2 million viewers last season, peaking at 4.1 million. Carr expressed his excitement about the show's return, highlighting its fun and irreverent nature. The series, which is produced by Objective Entertainment, will consist of six episodes and will be filmed in Glasgow this Spring. Kalpna Patel-Knight, the BBC's Head of Entertainment, praised Carr's ability to connect with contestants and the family-friendly appeal of the show. Applications for contestants are currently open until February 21.
