Shreveport Men Arrested in Multiple Juvenile Sexual Assault, Robbery Cases

Multiple arrests have been made in Shreveport in connection with sexual crimes and robbery. Dustin Cates, 18, was arrested for sexually abusing two juveniles over the course of a year and faces charges including first-degree rape and indecent behavior with juveniles. Christopher Stark was arrested for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old juvenile, charged with indecent behavior and third-degree rape, which can carry up to 25 years in prison. Additionally, Demetrius McCoy was arrested for sexual battery at a nightclub after a woman reported being inappropriately touched without consent. In a separate incident, Cartez C. Thomas was charged with armed robbery after robbing a victim he met via a dating app, fleeing in the victim's vehicle, and being apprehended following a high-speed chase. Law enforcement agencies continue to encourage victims and witnesses to come forward to aid in ongoing investigations.
