The Sims Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Major Updates

Electronic Arts (EA) is celebrating The Sims' 25th anniversary with a series of updates and events across its games. The Sims 4 is receiving a major update on February 4, adding 70 new items and a revamped main menu, along with a limited-time 'Blast From The Past' event featuring 2000s-themed content. The Sims FreePlay will also have a 25-day event featuring similar 2000s-inspired items. Additionally, EA has unexpectedly updated The Sims 3 to fix compatibility issues with newer Intel CPUs, sparking hope for further updates to the game. There is speculation that major announcements, possibly related to The Sims 2, will be made during a 25-hour anniversary livestream on February 25. Meanwhile, three new content Kits for The Sims 4, including one developed with popular creator LilSimsie, are set to release soon.
