Tech Mahindra Launches AI-Driven LLM for Telecom Networks

Tech Mahindra has launched a new Large Language Model (LLM) aimed at enhancing the performance and operational efficiency of telecom operators. Developed on AWS cloud and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, the model is tailored for telecom networks, enabling them to transform into fully autonomous systems. It manages both structured and unstructured data to facilitate proactive issue resolution, thus improving service quality without human intervention. The LLM includes two primary components: the Dynamic Network Insights Studio, which provides comprehensive network performance insights, and the Proactive Network Anomaly Resolution Hub, designed to automatically detect and resolve network issues. This initiative marks a shift from transactional AI use cases to a holistic integration of AI capabilities within telecommunications. Manish Mangal, Tech Mahindra's Chief Technology Officer, emphasized the importance of this transformation for reducing operational costs and enhancing network agility.
