Jay-Z Accuses Lawyer of Editing Wikipedia to Damage Reputation

Jay-Z has amended his defamation lawsuit against attorney Tony Buzbee, newly alleging that Buzbee directed his employees to edit Wikipedia pages to enhance Buzbee’s own image while damaging the reputations of Jay-Z and Roc Nation. The amended complaint claims over 100 positive edits to Buzbee’s Wikipedia page were made from IP addresses linked to his law firm, and argues these actions were part of a broader scheme to pressure Jay-Z into a settlement by threatening his sports and entertainment partnerships. Jay-Z further alleges that the now-dismissed sexual assault lawsuit against him was based on falsehoods and was used as leverage in an extortion attempt, causing him significant financial harm, including loss of business deals, a personal credit line, and a loan. In response, Buzbee has denied the allegations, calling the claims meritless. The amended suit now also names attorney Antigone Curis as part of an alleged conspiracy. The controversy follows the withdrawal of the sexual assault suit, with the accuser maintaining her claims despite dropping the case.
