Ex-Miami-Dade Schools Officer Sentenced to 30 Years for Shooting Ex-Boyfriend

Yessenia Sanchez, a former Miami-Dade Schools Police officer, was sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to first-degree attempted murder and stalking for shooting her ex-boyfriend, Damian Colon, an off-duty Miami-Dade Police officer, in November 2022.
