Gene Hackman Died of Heart Disease and Alzheimer's

A detailed investigation report reveals that Betsy Arakawa, wife of actor Gene Hackman, was actively researching flu-like symptoms and COVID-19 related queries before her death from hantavirus pulmonary syndrome in February. The report, released by authorities, shows Arakawa's internet searches included whether COVID could cause dizziness or nosebleeds, and she was considering medical care for Hackman, who had shown flu-like symptoms but tested negative for COVID. Arakawa's last search was for a healthcare provider in Santa Fe, and she had communicated with her masseuse about rescheduling an appointment out of caution. Gene Hackman, aged 95, is believed to have died approximately a week later due to heart disease and complications from Alzheimer’s disease. The couple was found deceased in their Santa Fe home on February 26 by maintenance workers who alerted the police. Authorities plan to release more police body camera footage to further investigate the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
