Amy Slaton Halterman, a star from TLC's '1000-lb Sisters', was arrested on September 2 at a Tennessee safari park, facing charges of drug possession and child endangerment. The Crockett County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of a guest being bitten by a camel, and upon arrival, detected suspicious odors coming from Halterman's vehicle. Alongside her, Brian Scott Lovvorn was also arrested, with both being booked into Crockett County Jail on two counts of illegal possession of substances and child endangerment. Their bonds were set at $10,000 each. The sheriff's office emphasized that the charges are merely accusations, and both individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Halterman, who shares two children with her ex-husband Michael Halterman, has faced numerous personal challenges, including a tumultuous divorce.
