San Bruno Woman Arrested After Ramming San Mateo Police, Assault Attempt

Liliana Tafollaromero, a 31-year-old woman from San Bruno, was arrested in San Mateo after allegedly attempting to pepper spray a security guard and using her vehicle to try to hit him multiple times in a private parking lot on Bovet Road. When police arrived, Tafollaromero refused to exit her car and reversed into a police patrol vehicle, causing minor damage but no injuries to officers. She then continued to circle the parking lot for about ten minutes while officers attempted to stop her vehicle, eventually deploying a vehicle disabling device and other containment measures before she surrendered. Tafollaromero faces three counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of evading a peace officer. She was booked into San Mateo County Jail following her arrest.
