Delphi Murders Trial Witness Testimonies Continue

The Delphi murders trial continues to focus heavily on DNA evidence as Richard Allen stands accused of killing 14-year-old Liberty German and 13-year-old Abigail Williams in 2017. During the trial's ninth day, forensic scientist Stacy Bozinovski testified that while male DNA was found at the crime scene, it could not be conclusively linked to Allen or indicate sexual assault. In addition, she confirmed that DNA found in Abby's hand matched that of Kelsi German, Libby's sister, and that no semen was detected in the rape kits administered to the victims. Indiana State Police Lt. Jerry Holeman also testified, explaining how a cartridge matched to Allen's gun was found at the scene, though he acknowledged mistakes in the investigation. Defense attorneys are pushing to have the jury hear Allen's interrogation tapes to better represent their case.
