Suspect Arrested in Plot to Kill Salman Khan

Sukhbir Singh, alias Sukha, has been remanded to police custody until October 22 for his alleged involvement in a conspiracy to assassinate Bollywood actor Salman Khan, reportedly orchestrated by jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Arrested in Panipat, Haryana, Sukha is accused of planning to use a Turkey-made Zigana pistol for the attack and coordinating with associates in Pakistan via WhatsApp. This case gained traction after shots were fired outside Khan's Bandra residence in April, leading to investigations that uncovered a plot targeting his farmhouse in Panvel. Authorities have heightened security around Khan's properties following the revelation of the assassination plan, which involves multiple members of the Bishnoi gang.
