Karl Haglund, a 48-year-old man from Massachusetts, was arrested after a series of hit-and-run incidents culminated in him driving his pickup truck onto Folsom Field at the University of Colorado Boulder. Boulder police received reports around 6:45 p.m. of a blue pickup truck involved in multiple crashes, hitting trees, signs, and nearly striking a pedestrian. Despite attempts by police and witnesses to stop him, Haglund drove through the stadium gates and onto the football field before surrendering. He faces numerous charges, including criminal attempt vehicular assault, reckless endangerment, vehicular eluding, and trespassing. No injuries were reported from the incident, and the university plans to repair the field before the next home game.
