The new version retains the original music while employing an AI model trained on Lee's voice to deliver freshly translated Spanish lyrics, receiving Lee's full approval. This release marks a significant moment in the ethical use of AI within the music industry, demonstrating how AI can be utilized responsibly while respecting artist rights. The collaboration with SoundLabs, which employs a vocal plug-in called MicDrop, allows UMG to create high-quality vocal models under the artist's control.
