Three Teenagers Charged With Attempted Murder After Sunderland Park Stabbing

Three teenagers, two boys aged 16 and a girl aged 15, have been charged with attempted murder following the serious injury of a 15-year-old boy in Herrington Country Park, Sunderland. The injured boy sustained serious wounds consistent with a blade attack and remains in stable condition in hospital. The incident occurred around 6:10 pm on a Friday evening, and police believe some of those involved may be known to each other. Northumbria Police are conducting an ongoing investigation, including search activities in the park, and have urged witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. The teenagers remain in custody and are scheduled to appear in South Tyneside Magistrates' Court.
