The Mighty Nein Premieres November 19, Vox Machina Returns 2026
Prime Video has announced that The Legend of Vox Machina, the popular animated series from Critical Role and Titmouse, has been renewed for a fifth and final season, with Season 4 set to premiere in 2026. The series follows the adventures of Vox Machina as they face a cataclysmic threat that forces them to reunite after being scattered across Exandria. Additionally, a new Critical Role animated series, The Mighty Nein, will premiere on November 19, 2025, introducing a new group of misfits in the same fantasy world but set about 20 years later on the continent of Wildemount. Both series share cast members who voice multiple characters and serve as executive producers, and there are hints of crossover elements between the two shows. The Mighty Nein will feature star-studded guest appearances and follows the group’s quest to stop a powerful arcane relic called "The Beacon" from threatening reality. These announcements were made during the Critical Role panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, which also showcased sneak peeks and character artwork for both series.
